Vani is equal to a murder

An article on the BBC-website that shows what can happen when the balance between the sexes is out of order. In Pakistan this leads to situations that are hardly conceivable for a person with a modern mindset. There are only victims in this situation, and especially the women are at the wrong end, as usual. Some claim that certain countries are not yet ripe for true democracy, and therefor people have to accept these aberrations. However, with equal -if not more- right one could state that every person is born as a democrat, to live and let others live as they like, with respect for one another and life in general. And that it is only the argumentation of those who have their vested interests at stake to disqualify others in exercising their legal rights, whether a country is concerned, a group in society or a sex. May the light of knowledge shine upon all who are able to receive!
